BMW E46 produced from 1998 by BMW. It is the 3rd generation of the 3 series compact executive cars. The E46 was released in 98 to the worldwide markets in the sedan body style. A coupe and touring body style became available to all markets and the sedan was released in the U.S. in 1999. Then a convertible and hatchback body style was released in 2000, for Europe, South Africa, New Zealand & Australia. The BMW E46 experienced enormous success in all markets.
